k215b memory upgrade

Hi all i'm going to upgrade my memory, due to 1 module dying a week after i got the thing.
The current ram is Pc2100, and the spec of the sony site says the ram type is pc2100, but when i viewed the accessories for the model it showed my pc2700 ram, whats going on?

& buying pc2700 speed if it will only run at pc2100 is kinda skanky

i would suggest putting mudules with the same memory size to get the best performance. I think the pc2700 speed will work fine and the bust speed of ur laptop will tell u if it will work at this speed or at pc2100. The faulty mamory should be under warranty as well.

NO VAIO COMPUTER USE ORIGINALY SONY RAM !
I WOULD NEVER BUY ORIGINALY SONY RAM !
ORIGINAL SONY RAM IS TO EXPENSIVE !
YOU CAN BUY RAM FROM OTHER MANUFACTURERS FOR THE HALF PRICE !

I could not believe Sony prices!!!! As it happens, Sony don't even fit their RAM to their laptops - mine has 2 Samsung RAMs....

Yeah thanks guys, will stick to 2100, and no i have no intention of buying sony ram £140+ i think the prices were, seen it cheaper in pc world and even cheaper again on ebay with warrenty
Yeah it is under warrenty but i want to upgrade anyway!

My ram is infinion, so no, not sony!
