Internal speakers in new Z-series Vaio

Just unpacked my brand new VPC-Z21M9E and everything rocks... except the speakers. They sound terrible, tinny, weak and ridiculous on such a high-spec, high-price machine. The sound is awesome on the headphones, so it's not a sound-card issue.

Has anyone else found this, or any Sony people got a comment?

I'm sure you are aware that this is a user forum - so you won't get a comment from Sony here.

You may get a reply from another user with the new Z-Series if you wait for one to pass through.

If you have a problem, I suggest you contact Vaio Support and see what they say.

OK, sure, I wasn't thinking - actually I would be very interested to hear from other users, but in the meantime my first step is back to the Sony store. The machine is just one day old!
