Hi,
I recently got an old vgn s3xp laptop without recovery CD's. I downloaded the drivers from the Sony site and everything works except the Video Driver...
And there is more than one problem: the first is off course the bad movement of the image.
The second one is that the image doesn't fit the screen. There is a lot of black (unused screen) on the left and right side, and a little bit on top and bottom.
I tried downloading the driver (geforce 6200) from nvidia itself, but the software doesn't find the hardware so it can't be installed.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Brent
Solved! Go to Solution.
It sounds like you do not have any nVidia driver installed.
I assume you are using XP? If yes, go to the 'Updates' Tab for your model and scroll all the way to the bottom.

Hi,
thanks for the explanation. I will try this tonight.
I already downloaded the driver, but apparently I installed it in the wrong way.
I will let you know if it doesn't work.
Thanks
Brent
It worked thanks!
