Do all VAIOs purchased in Europe have Europewide warranty?

I'm planning to buy a vaio from a UK website. However, I live in Sweden. Is the warranty covered in Sweden?

The original warranty should be OK in the Vaio Europe Area.

However, be aware that the UK warranty is only 12 months.

12 month for Windows 7 Home Edition and 24 month for Windows 7 Professional am I wrong?
