Hey vaio's, how long can you put the desktop and notebook on, for how long without concerning?

Desktops can stay on 24/7
Laptops I wouldn't leave > 12hrs really.... but thats me

I leave my laptop on all day without an problems, although I restart it occasionally to stop it getting clogged up.

Mine is run much the same Tyger, with Hibernate enabled after 30 mins of inactivity. The most important thing is to use either a screen saver or ask Windows to automatically switch off the LCD to prevent residual image build up.
