Hi,

I've bought a new Sony Vaoi VGN-A117S, but there is a big Problem.
The most colores are shon false on the laptop-monitor. My graphis-chip is a ati mobility radeon 9700. What can I do?
Is this bug known?

What do you mean false? Try this: Right click on your desktop and select 'Properties'. Go to the 'Settings' tab and then change the color quality option to 24 or 32 bit.

Hi,

my option is set to 32 bit.
The problem is, that the color orange is shown as red and the color light-beige is shown as a light-grey color. If you want I can post the RGB numbers. I've also downloaded a new driver from omega, but nothing happens. Please help.

Underneath Colour Quality, click the Advanced button. There's a whole load of colour settings in there, one of which probably has made your colours go funky. Set everything back to default if in doubt.

I've set all to default, but it doesn't work.
Another tip?

Calibration with an LCD is VERY difficult indeed....

Search google for a good calibration guide for TFT/LCD
