Hi,
I have a corrupt file xpsprint.dll and I don't know how to repair, delete or renew it. When I run McAfee virus scan it always freezes my computer when it reaches this file and I then have to power off and back on. I don't know where to locate the file ln my comp to do anything with it, help with locating the file is appreciated.
Can anyone offer advice for fixing this please.
Many thanks, Frederick...:smileyhappy:
Hi Frederick,
You should find xpsprint.dll in C:\Windows\system32.
To troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7 have a look at the following link:

Hi Rich,
Thank you for this information.
I have located the file in system32.
I've run the script on the link provided and it created a copy of the xpsprint file in the same folder, will this be an undorrupted file and can I delete the original corrupt file?
Thank you for your help,
frederick...
Hi Frederick,
I assume that the old Xpsprint.dll file has been renamed as you cannot have two files of the same name and extension in a folder.
If this is the case then you can safely delete the old corrupted file.
