A Few Things I Would Like To Be Clarified Before Upgrading To Vista

Hey im going to upgrade soon to vista (hopefully comes nxt few weeks according to moduslink guy) but first i wanna understand things clearly because ive read many post blogs etc and all have different situations all i want to know is

1)Do The Drivers For The AR21s Come With The Vista
2)Will it come with the pre-installed software that actualy came with my laptop when i
bought it?
3)Ive read many places the upgrade cd wont allow me to actually upgrade but have to do a
clean install?
4)I have a C:\ Drive and a D:\ Drive ive read somewhere in this forum that it will affect
the vista installation.
5)The partition that has all the pre-installed driver software will it be deleted? And
will vista support all the installations on the partition?
6)Many people to have problems with there motion eye camera with vista why is this?
7)Will all the buttons on the laptop work once i install vista?
8)How easy is it to adopt vista from xp in a more techinical view such as
registry's,services etc?

I cheacked online my order status it says it has been received but no date when they will ship it man from modus link said nxt few weeks.....but i ordered it in feburary

Thanks

Just so you know Nero 7.7+ is vista compatable so if you update to the latest which i believe to be 7.8 then you will have no problems.

All I know is that the buttons on your laptop should all work, it's just a newer OS system. Some people have said that it's just like the XP system but with fancy graphics. You shouldn't have any or many problems installing it.

10x brother

Better off sticking to XP, at least for some (long) time yet...

I don't know if somebody can know if it is vienna capable... Are you sure Microsoft will release a new OS just 2 years after Vista ? (knowing that they will need at least one year to make it a stable OS with all the functionnalities promised, like the new file system for example).

For Media Center : Media Center on vista has a slightly different look, but I did not see any major improvements. For example, you can now see the content of the guide while watching TV (the guide overlays the video as a transparency). There is also a pop-up mini guide that you can access while watching TV. The navigation in your music and video libraries has been improved also. The only really important thing is that now, the MPEG2 rendering is managed by Media Center itself. It should increase the reliability (before, MPEG2 rendering was done by the MPEG2 codecs provided by various sources (for example, on VAIOs, by the coded provided with Intervideo WinDVD). I did not have any problems with that but it seems that some people who were using other codecs had some problems of reliability)

Nothing special about the media centre...

As for vienna yee apparently M$ are determined to release it 2008/09 they had been working on it since the finished vista........this is what i found abit worrying they said this will be a brand new OS they will be building it from the ground up...so im guessing vista wasnt it was just based on xp but if it was why doesnt it support the everything xp does...?

If it's true then you have the answer to your first question : keep XP (which is working fine) until 2008 !
