RegSrvc Module Problem+ windows is very slow

Hi All,

We are having a problem with our Vaio VGN-FS415B. The laptop is only 2 years old but for the past month the system is extremely slow (5-6 minutes until the windows is downloaded) and when booting up comes up with the message 'RegSrvc module encountered a problem and needs to close'. The sound is also affected media player is very slow and distorted.

Has anybody experienced anthing similar or suspect what it may be?
