I imagine this has been asked before, but I've done a search and couldn't find a matching item. Anyway, we watch our TV using the TV input almost all the time. When we turn the set off at night, we also switch off at the socket too to save energy. When we turn the set back on again, at first we get the last channel viewed for about 15 seconds, then the TV changes the input source to AV1, which is our very infrequently used DVD player.
Is there a way I can stop this from happening? I can't find anything in the i-manual to address this.

Hi
The solutions, for me, are
-- unplug the AC power cord (not the HDMI cable) of the DVD player
Or
--Disable “Auto TV on” (To not turn on the TV automatically when turning on the connected device)
Edit:
I’m sorry. Better disable [BRAVIA Sync Control] on HDMI 1 INPUT device (STEP 7 “Activate “BRAVIA” Sync on the connected device”) see link below
or disable similar “option” on DVD device settings.
