How do I use Favourites in a Sony Bravia TV? Or is there a Categories?

I would like to use my Sony Bravia TV for the radio but I have to navigate to 704 for Radio 4 or 233 for Sky News. There surely is an easier way like using Favourites but I can't work out how to record a favourite or access Favourites. Can anybody out there help?

Hey there,

From what you said this seems to be related to TV stations, and not applications.
You can sort the channels to your liking yes, from the tuning page on the TV.
You can provide us with the TV if you want us to check it for you.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for your reply but I'm not really sure you understand what I mean. With a previous TV I had I could put stations into Categories, eg all radio stations I put in a Category that I created called Radio. Then when I chose to view Categories I clicked on Radio and saw a list of only radio stations. Another solution was to mark stations I like as Favourite and then when I viewed Favourites that is all I saw. My digital radio has this Favourites capability too, so maybe the Sony Bravia doesn't have it and I'm getting confused with my radio and a previous TV. Thanks for your help though.

Hey there,

Oh, yea I don't think I've seen that before in a Sony TV, although, there's a program called channel sorting that Sony made.

You can check it, maybe it got these features, but you use it on a PC.

You extract your current channel list from the TV using a USB, sort them using the program on a PC, then upload them back.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for your help. It seems Sony doesn't have the capability - I must be confusing it with another TV I had. I may try what you suggest though. Many thanks for your help
