This happened to me yesterday. I was listening to music and got a call > it muted the phone completely and I had to turn it off and on again.
But, I know I used to listen to music and make and receive calls normally before, so today I recreated this bug... yep when listening to music and receiving a call, the phone goes mute, BUT if I listen to music and try and call someone it goes ok, and after that I can receive calls also.
It's worth a try
1. connect headset
2. listen to music
3. call someone while listening to music
4. hang up, the music continues
5. receive a call
I am also facing the same issue. The following work-around helps upto some extent.
1. Listen to music
2. When you receive a call, attend the call
3. Put it in loud speaker.
4. Turn-off the loud speaker immediately.
5. Now you will be able to hear.
But still, there is some noise is observed.
@Sony: Please resolve this problem ASAP.
settings reset+removal of live wallpaper+deactivation of all accessories in liveware mngr= Solved
And for those of us stuck on Gingerbread as the latest ICS updates causes even more problems, this 'incoming call problem when listening to music' IS STILL A PROBLEM!!! and its now 2 Jan 2013 !!
So thats 4 months that Sony's developers must be stuck on this problem !!
Sony's Support on these mass sudden variety of Xperia phones to grab some market share is shocking.
My phone has been in for repair 3 times for the same problems... Fails on Gingerbread and fails on ICS
...Once I get rid of this piece of shit, I'll never be buying a sony again. (Simply just 5 months of about 20 'Sony Repair companion' phone rebuilds, then additionall 3 times to their repair centre).
What a Joke!!!
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I'm experiencing the same issue with my xperia U. Can you please tell me how to remove live wallpaper? (I am a new user, so totally inexperienced)
Hold your finger down on anywhere on the 'Moving wallpaper' background.
...Menu will appear.
....Select Wallpaper & change it to a static wall paper.
Happy days!
Works for me. Thanks a lot.
