Mine was a PITA like that initially, but now seems to have settled after several days. I was still getting it turn off overnight when on charge (something to do with deep sleep and being fully charged) and therefore missing the alarm! However, found this small app (Safe Charge) which seems to have solved it - no shutdowns/reboots for 2 days or so:

I have also switched off stamina mode as I wondered if that was causing issues.

@Blabla
Thanks that's good to know, it suggests it may have been an underlying problem with the handset. I think it is worth contacting sony support about it but I'll let you know what they say is wrong with mine anyway.
@Rickardo
Cool I will keep that in mind for when (if) I get my handset back from the repair centre.

@elpotro123
Volume thing is a theme issue change to one of the standard themes and reboot issue will be resolved.
Did you do a full wipe with flashtool?
I do not recognise these other bugs with my device so must be specific to yours. Repair from PCC should fix or maybe some background system apps are doing some configuration in the background and will settle down in the next few days. It always takes a few days after a significant update for the system to sort its self out and battery to settle.

What i can say now is that tge battery has improved, it could not last 10hrs on battery on moderate use but now it does. Internet is so fast now esp in apps downloading form Play Store. After the first upgrade from 4.1 to 4.3, some MP4 videos failed to play, no such thing right now.
Most guys here do not follow instructions on upgrading or your phone are fake may be. Pointing fingers to Sony for your own mistakes won't solve a thing. Some do not even know the software to use for upgrade.

You said that some people (we) are blaming Sony for nothing where we should blaming us for not knowing the actual process of the update.
With all due respect sir, if you think that a number of people who updated their phone via pcc or sus do not know the actual procedure of update please think again. We are not amateurs. We know our device and we also know how to deal with our devices.
We are not blaming Sony for a buggy software. All we are saying to Sony that to bring us something which will fix those bugs. We know that it can be happen by any reknown company.
So please think before you judge.
Thank you
