Hi All!
I have an SP with 16GB SD-Card. I formatted this card to FATex, so I can copy to it files with size more than 4GB.
BUT I can't record more than 4GB of video. Why is this? It's really annoying...

As I understand Alex don is correct. The phone can only record files up to 4 GB.
exFAT should be able to move files > 4 GB.However, there might be a limit on Android which is using FAT32 by default:

I am disappointed. It is possible, later with an Android update the phone will be capable to do this?
I don't really understand why can't do this, because on the phones internal sd-card i have only 1GB free space, so it has to write the data directly to the external sd-card (otherwise how could it be a 4GB file), on what i have 14GB free space.
Of corse I accept your answer, just I would like to understand the operation.
Thanks a lot!
It seems that any FAT32 drive cannot handle more than 4GB.And it might be that Android stock software does not allow you to store more than 4GB,even if you have exFAT on your SD.
Thank you Sir!
Anytime.
