Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

If I understand you correctly the Sony Update Center app stops working? Have you tried resetting your phone after the update?

resetting isnt always the solution!!!!! wat the **bleep**!!! you r from sony support and suggesting such a low class solution!!!!! there's always a mistake from sony side!!!! the sony software developers aren't capable enough of developing a stable firmware anytime!!!! they cant do this even in their entire lyf!!!!! resetting the phone always will wipe the intrnal memory!! all the installed apps and stuffs!!! this isn't a solution at all!!!!! there's only one solution...just throw such a **bleep** crap in the dustbin nd go for any other smartphone company...do always nexus, samsung or moto devices need a reset after updating to a new firmware?????!!!!! i hav not listened any such so far!!!!! then why always sony?? if you all can't develop a stable firmware then please its my request to the entire sony: please stop making smartphones!!!!! everybody is done with all of your crappy buggy updates!!!!! :@ huh!!
