I just moved to Xperia mini pro from an old mobile phone, so I loaded my old contacts into my google account and I edited them heavily. Now I need to load the edited contacts into my mobile and I thought that to do this, it will be enough to enable syncing of contacts as describec here: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/mobilephones/learn-more/subject/transfercontactsusinggoogles...
I was able to set up the google account on my phone, but the syncing just does not work for me. It even says the time last syncing was performed, but I do not see any changes in the contacts stored in my google acount (looking from a PC) nor in the contact list on my phone.
Anybody having the same problems or knows how to get around? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you so much, this is exactly what I was so desperately looking for! It's actually hard to believe that similar capability is not offered by official SE software supplied with the phone "PC companion". I was pretty relieved after succesfully installing this phone explorer.
great
you know i never downloaded this.. but seeing your response i am downloading it
i dont know.. but want to see what all it can do
Hope you will like it too, at least for me it works perfectly and in fact exceeds my expectations.
I don't need all its capabilities by far, but I like very much the possibility to easily edit all my contacts in one place.
I should also add that my trouble with syncing using google contacts was really rather a misunderstanding, as the syncing works only one way - the google contacts are downloaded to the phone, but you cannot change the contacts loaded from a SIM card (edit then in google account). With the explorer, everything is at my hands and it's also very clear.
i dont have any problems with contacts... just around 150... so not a big deal
