black unresponsive screen

Hey,

I've got an xperia X10 mini pro and the other day the display screen suddenly went black and I'm completely unable to view the screen,

the phone is still on though. I've tried removing the battery etc. and I can't connect to PC companion without using the touch screen,

any suggestions for how to get my screen working again??

Hi, suggest the following ....

Switch off phone, while pressing HOME button, press ON/OFF button, see if it vibrates and starts up.

I have a similar issue on my Z ultra with latest firmware (.108).

The phone powers on but the backlight flickers then the screen gooes black. It sometimes flickers back on for a short while but the screen is totally unresponsive (can't unlock or do anything).

I do get calls (no tone) and other notification lights (and tone at least for whatsapp and hangouts).

I tried hard reset but the phone doesn't even vibrate thrice as it is supposed to.

I am out of options. 

Any help would be much appreciated
