no browser after jelly bean 4.2.2.

I got an update for android jelly bean 4.2.2. and I used it. Af first I had no internet, but got the manual settings from my provider. But now I still don't have a browser.

My browser is Google Chrome, but every time I tap the Google Chrome symbol nothing happens. 

Other apps like facebook, do work. How can I get my browser back to get to the internet

i think you should try and update Chrome from Play Store as I think its not installed correctly after Firmware update. So if updating does work you should try a factory reset of your phone after backing up your data.

I've tried everything too. In the end, I downloaded another browser (Dolphin Browser to be specific). I also downgraded my version of Chrome and now it works.
