Hi Everyone, hope one of you can help me,
The last 3 weeks I have not been able to watch any of the Bravia Internet Video services on my S370. In the settings it says that both physical connection and internet access are OK. Network test says it is OK. I can see my Synology server and can play files from the server. When I disconnect the box and put the LAN-cable in my laptop I have instant internet access. I have tried both DHCP and fixed IP-addresses but nothing works. Obviously gracenote can not be contacted. I have the latest firmware installed M03.R.695. Anything I can try?
ps. I have sent 2 e-mails to Sony but so far no reply
thanks for your suggestions
Solved! Go to Solution.
Not patronising at all: I am willing to try anything to avoid lenghty discussions with the supplier of my S370 and besides it used to work. So here to let you know that I have done a full factory reset without the desired result. The weird thing is that in the system settings it says:
LINK Connection Status: Succeeded
Provisioning Server Connection Status: -- (and after 2 minutes this changes into Failed)
What is the difference between the two? and what can be the reason that it is unable to connect to the Sony server? All suggestions still appreciated.
UPDATE
On Dutch fora it is starting to rain complaints of people experiencing the exact same problem. And they all have the same provider (Tele2). Apparently it is well known with both Sony and Tele2 but they keep pointing at each other. Some 50 people already returned their Sony product to have it repaired just to find out there was nothing wrong (but losing their box for 3 weeks or so). Latest suggestion is that Tele2 blocks traffic as soon as they find out that you are streaming from Sony because they are offering a similar paid for service. Changing the modem/router is not an option as one is not able to make phonecalls anymore. It looks like it could be in Sony's interest as well that a solution is found soon because I can't believe that it is fun to have all these complaints and products returned so maybe Sony and Tele2 could try to sort it out between themselves. I'll give it a few weeks and if not solved I'll have to find myself a new provider.
Thanks for your input 'eduzzel'

Not wanting to be patronising, but sometimes a full factory reset after the new firmware has been applied can sometimes jolt the system into behaving. You've done all the reasonable things to isolate the fault, so I would give that a go.
Thanks
