Panasonic SC-PMX92EB-K Micro Hi-Fi System with Bluetooth and DAB+
My current set up.
Sony 55XF9005 TV
Sony HT-ZF9 Soundbar
Panasonic DP-UB820EB 4k BluRay Player
Sky Q
I'm about to buy the Panasonic HiFi mentioned in the subject line.
As I intend to play some programmes through the HiFi rather than the soundbar, I assume that an optical cable from soundbar to HiFi is the easiest option?

Hi @Blumine1818
The optical port on your HT-ZF9 is described as Optical-audio input. For the above to work you need a Optical-audio output. Your TV, Sky Q and probably your Blu-ray have Optical-audio outputs.

Thank you for this.
So if I run an optical cable from the TV to the hifi, choose the optical input as the hifi source, that's it? No TV setting changes?
