Just iPlayer or other services too? How are you connecting your device to the web?

I am connected wirelessly  and I only have this problem with the BBC iplayer and thanks for replying Eduzzel. BRIAN.

Have you tried hardwiring the device to the router to see if that makes a difference. Drop out is likely down to wireless reception - could be a black spot or something.

Try running a length of ethernet cbale directly to the device to see if it improves. If it does, then I would switch to homeplugs or see if you can improve your wireless signal from your router..
