Headphone charging light

MDR-RF811RK Wireless Headphones - new.

They work fine but when charging the red light never goes out ( 40 hours or more on charge). Manual says that the light goes out when charging is complete. That means I can never tell whether the headphones are fully charged and can be expected to last the required amount of time.

Is there a solution ?

Hi,

Please take the headphones from the charger and use them until the batteries are empty. Put them then back on the charger. The charging light then should turn off after ~16h.

If the issue remains after what Peter suggested, take the headphones back to the point of sale for an exchange under warranty.
