What is the difference between a Momory Stick PRO Duo and a Memory Stick PRO Duo Mark 2? I have a Cyber-shot DSC-W270.

Hello marienivision - welcome to the Sony Forums
'Mark 2' means that the memory card can be written to at a faster rate which, on some cameras, allows a shorter time between taking images. From a video point of view, it allows movie clips to be recorded at a higher overall quality as it allows a faster flow of data onto the card.
Thanks,
Simon

Hi Simon
Thank you very much for your reply and the information. As I have just bought a DSC-W270 Cyber-shot camera which is quite basic I don't think I need to bother with the 'Mark 2'
Many thanks,
marienivison
