Yes, your camera will accept the new cards, and there's no limit to the card capacity you can use.

Just to elaborate from Mick also, there is a wide range of Memory Sticks suitable for the HDR-CX6E and provided a link below.

Largest available HX listed is the 32GB but a note "Transmission speed may not be faster when using Memory Stick PRO(High Speed/Mark2) and Memory Stick PRO-HG."
