Have second hand DVD Handycam DCR -DVD 705E. Have Picture Package but cannot get to run as it asks for Macromedia Flash. Have installed this from OldVersion but is same. Problem is mini DVD disc from camcorder is in UDF format. Tried various UDF Reader programs but cannot get any file list on disk just a blank. Cannot transfer video files from disc to PC. Know it can be done. Help!
The problem can be resolved to remove the Macromedia Flash error by doing the reverse.
Update you Flash to the latest version then follow the link below.

Download and install the 1.8 update which was made specifically for this issue.
This is due to Picture Package relies on a Macromedia Flash module which is too newer than what it understands therefore rejects it no matter what you do until the update is applied.
Hope that helps.
Thanks so much for that Watashiwateshdes. Yes that does indeed make Picture Package work, and is very helpful, but still a finalised DVD disk, although it identifies, does not load the video file symbols in. Its just a blank. I know the format of the DVD disk from the Handycam camcorder is UDF, its something to do with that. I have tried various UDF readers for PC DVD drives but to no avail. Dont know what to do unless of course my drive cannot accept UDF formatted disks at all?
Seem to have resolved all problems and working well now. Seems to have been solved by downloading a UDF reader which integrated int XP. Thanks for help.
