Hello,
I am currently using Sony XG85 (X850G) with Android 9.0 and I don't know that how can I check current refresh rate of external input? When I press the (i+) button, then it will usually show resolution and aspect ratio.. on TV channels there is information about current resolution and frame rate, but there's no information about current refresh rate if an external input is displayed. How can I check refresh rate of external input? Is that even possible on it?
Hello @adydasyt,
for HD channels it is either 720p50fps (50 "real" images with a resolution of 1280*720 pixels) or 1080i50fps (50 images with half the vertical resolution played back interlaced and therefore sometimes displayed as 25Hz).

Hello,
I know, thanks, but when TV is displaying signal from HDMI input, there's no information about current refresh rate.. why?
Hello @adydasyt,
as I said, if it is 1080i, there is no need to show the refresh-rate. There is no 1080i with a higher refreshrate as written above.
It is an external receiver after all and you are watching TV, am I right? Try it with another source, does it display the refresh-rate there?

When I am playing games on console, watching TV via set-top box, displaying screen from computer, there also is not displayed refrest rate.
I don’t use AV receiver.
As far as I know you can check the refresh rate on the screen.
No, I can’t check refresh rate of HDMI
thanks
