How to delete wrong characters when entering post code

I have just finished setting up my YouView box and went to type in my post code and entered a incorrect digit and cannot see any way to change it.The screen says 0 for space and DEL for delete.I can only see one key with delete on it.It says SUB on the top and DEL on the bottom I have pressed that key but nothing happens anyone have any ideas.Thank's
