how many simultaneous recordings can a KD-55AG9 television do?

My trusty but old Humax 1000S has finally stopped recording after many years of service. I did try a new drive, but it doesn't even see it. It's slow and clunky anyway, so time to look for something new and more modern.

So, how many recordings can a Sony KD-55AG9 television do at the same time?

Knowing the answer will help me to plan what I do next.

I am guessing only one is the answer but have not found anything concrete after some searches.

You're right, it can only do 1 recording at a time.

Glad I could help!

I believe all TVs can record only 1 programme/channel at any point in time, but some give you the option to watch a different channel while recording another by using 2 satellite tuners.
