Because I'm keen to view the occasional full HDR broadcasts from BBC and my WiFi is only about 25mbps due to thick walls ( sorry for those for whom that's a good speed !) I just had ethernet wiring installed so I can exceed the BBCs 40mbps minimum requirement for the FULL HDR. A speedtest on my laptop when plugged in to the new port, registered 61.5mbps. So far so good.
However it's very slow on TV. The speedtest.net website take 200+msecs to ping and only registers 5mbps
Is this known issue with Sony TV's ? Does it improve with the additional processing power of the new chip in the XG9505?
Cheers

All resolved. I 'forgot' the 'remembered' WiFi connections and that seemed to solve the problem. Now getting the full 60mbps.
