Xperia 1 III, new sony update xperia home keeps stopping

Just this morning I did a new update for my Sony Xperia 1 iii, but soon after the home screen keeps stopping/flashing, and unable to use the phone at all. Will there be a repair update soon, as I used companion, but that did nothing at all to the phone.

Having same problem here, factory reset did nothing

Try a software repair with Xperia Companion.

That's what I tried, factory reset my phone still same issue, spoke to ee technical support said it was Sony software not compatible with Android 12 and to wait for update

Factory reset is something different than Xperia companion software repair.

That's what I used software repair and it removed all apps and still same issue, will have to contact Sony support in monday

In the meantime I've switched from Xperia Home to Microsoft Launcher. The phone will still work while we're waiting for an update.

Then you can get an extra added bonus.

Once you set the home screen to have the Microsoft/Bing daily pick pictures, it will continue to have it after you switched back to Xperia Home.
