Waterproof notification!?

Hello im writing this as a very loyal and Sony product loving customer who's bought Sony products most of my life. I've now owned a Sony xperia z2 for nearly two year's and been very happy with it until I returned from holiday abroad June this year. I love the camera on the z2 and love taking pictures but the one exciting thing about the z2 was the TV advert showing how you can use the camera underwater in shallow water.
I used my camera happily in the sea and the swimming pool and took great picks of the tropical fish and just great underwater pics and above whilst on a using a canoe not worrying at all about it because all the water tight flaps were closed as instructed so as you claimed it will still work which it did well until a few weeks ago. Now I find that to only thing uncovered which is the headphone socket no longer works. as I look down I see corrosion also the magnetic socket is started to corrode. the touch screen is less responsive and the camera now often get condensation inside the lens.  Now to add insult to injury Sony has decided to backtrack on their claims of a waterproof phone and tell owners not to take the phone into water! This to me, and many other Sony xperia owners is a shocking remark from Sony lots of customers like me bought our phones because of the TV ADVERTISING and PRESS ADS stating and showing the phone going underwater! Sony need to address this issue and admit the lies they have told and how you've duped people into buying a product that does not do what you stated it can do! I know am forced to buy another phone as mine is becoming worse to use than ever.my years of loyalty to Sony products is at an end. I am going to vent my anger over this on the forums and I am also going to contact watchdog and trading standards as I see this as false advertising. I hope you reply to this email asap to try to explain and maybe make things write with just one loyal Sony customer but I think you may be receiving more of these emails after your back tracking.

Saltwater! You serious? Even ocean going vessels erode not to mention a smaller item like a phone. Did you cover every exposed part of the phone when taking fishes in saltwater?
