I've used Media Go to transfer all my mp3's to my sd card. Now the phone says "cannot play song" on most of my library. I've actually collected almost all of my library over the past 10 years from borrowing or buying cd's, so I'm not exactly thrilled at the thought of purchasing music again just because I purchased this phone, as my old phone played my music fine. Any suggestions?

I think the SD card its faulty, you should reformat the SD card
Try this
settings > apps > all > walkman > clear everything > stop walkman > restart your phone > check again
Thank you, so far seems to be working on the first 6 songs I transferred. Hopefully it fixes it for good

I experience other issues with newest Walkman on my Z:
From time to time when I am listening to the music it stops playing for a second for example when I turn off / on the screen = it will lag for a moment which means it stops playing the music for about 1 sec or sometimes 0,5s. and continue to play it after that
It happens from time to time also when I am starting other apps
I am on newest android 4.2.2.
I believe it can be fixed and play the music fluent no matter what I am oing, turning on/off the screen or starting other apps.
Okay, now it tries to play the songs, but skips? Wth? lmfao, my digital cd is skipping....
And restarted my phone but the music is no longer there. Could it be a faulty sd card? If so is there a way to test it?
I did that first thing when I put it into the phone. I didn't want to risk incompatibility issues from the old phone. Do you happen to know a way I could stress test the sd card or something similar to tell if it is the card for sure before I go spend the money on another one?
Found another sd card and it solved the problem I THINK. Thank you again for your patience
