Could somebody from Sony please explain why thousands of us are now 3 updates behind now regarding firmware updates?

We are still on 434!

How do we get Sonys attention on this?

Nice to know the update finally crawled to the unbranded UK Zs, it took its sweet time.

I'll update as soon as I get home from work since I can't update under Linux.

PS: Linux never gets any love and the Bridge software in my personal computer (Mac) is a resource hog making computer unresponsive (climbs up to 3Gb+ real memory). I use bootcamp Windows to sync the Z, the difference in polish and features between the Windows software and the Mac software night and day.

Updated to 4.2.2, quite an improvement, but why did it take so long to reach unbranded Zs?

I'm still testing the battery life, one major issue I had in 4.1.2 was the phone warming up in the pocket and a sudden drain in the battery for no reason I could discern.

Hi can anyone help my Sony Xperia z on the Sony diagnostics it's says latest software n/a so does that mean I can update to 4.2.2 cuz wen I go to update over the air it's says I have latest software 4.2.1

OTA update is not available yet. You need to connect your phone to your PC and flash the updated firmware with Sony PC Companion / Sony Update Service / Sony Bridge for Mac.

Are you in the UK, my one will not detect 10.3.A.0.423 update and it says I have latest software OTA and PC companion. Can I update otherwise without losing warranty and safely manually and official update?
