Hello, so I flashed the latest 4.2.2 update to my xperia z because P.C Companion didnt say i had it and neither did my phones software update/finder so I downloaded the firmware from here -http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2336874 and flashed it using the flashtool, i didnt have to use P.C Companion at all (even though its says i need it to do it and i do have it!) but i was wandering what happens if i try to do a restore using P.C companion? Because when it downloads the firmware from the internet to re install to my phone to fix or restore it and the firmware was not available (thats why i had to flash 4.2 myself) how will it restore my phone? May sound dumb but i would like to know just incase, THANKS!

It will reinstall the firmware you presently have in your phone.
Each region has it's own firmware which is called customization.
Let us suppose the firmware that came with the phone has X customization. Since jelly bean was not released yet for your customization, you flashed a 4.2.2 that has cuatomization Y. By flashing you've changed the customization of your phone and PCC detects your phone no more as X customization but Y customization. ( For which 4.2.2 is available )

ahhh ok! Because i downloaded it from xda and they took it from spain beacuse that was one of the places they sent the update to first, so if i restore it through PCC how will it no where to re download my 4.2 software?
