restoring with a different z3 compact phone

i lost 1 z3 comact (luck me eh) bought a new one and its saying it cannot restore the app data from my last phone to this one my because

"some of the backed up data won't be restored in your phone/tablet

this may be because of applications that are no longer installed on your phone/tablet but were installed when the data was backed up"

then it goes on to list 100 or so apps...does this mean i have to install them all again?!? any way around this?

The only way to have the same apps installed automatically would be turning on Google back up and restore option on the initial setup of the phone, and this will only work if you had the same option active on the old Z3C.

If this option didn't work, you can go to you Play Store application, open the side menu, choose My Apps, then choose "All" tab. This will show you a list of all the apps you ever installed under this Google account, you can enter them (sadly one by one) and install them on the new phone.

I'm not sure if it has changed recently but I never managed to recover backup to another unit, even of the same type running same software.
I would go with Quester suggestions and install them manually.
