How can i upgrade my phone to the newest firmware? pc companion won't download it and software update in the phone won't either. If i can't get these updates soon i'm going to have to return this phone

there's no error it just says i'm already updated. The phone overheats like crazy, I can't even hold it sometimes.

You can contact your local Xperia care regarding when the update will be released. But the phone will get hot the more you use it, more so if you record on 4K

the update is already released, others have it. How do I update manually?

Sony refuses to help because i'm in the wrong region. I don't understand the problem. the phone is from the region where the update exists, i'm not standing in the right country so i'm ? this is stupid.

Calm down, this is a user based forum, I understand your frustration but do respect the forum guidelines. If you bought the phone on a region that has the update available, you should be able to get the update, it doesn't matter if you are on a different country
