Hi.

Yesterday, after updating my Z3 onto Android Lollipop, I cannot use my phone's Style Cover Window SCR24's window for answering calls, disabling alarms etc. Touch window just doesn't function anymore. If and when will Sony repair this? Do I have to wait for a firmware update or is there something hidden in the settings/apps I can enable/disable myself?

Glad to hear that it works now

As ScottishLad says, we have started rolling out a new version of the Style Cover app now. The availability of this update may depend on local and operator approvals so it's not certain that you have received it yet.

Please let me know in case you should still see any issue with the new version.

From France I have updated Style cover app and now, the default screen does not display time/clock and text notifications ...

Now, I have to open cover to see the current time ...

Can you help me ?

When you close the cover, what the smart window displays?

If it displays a big plus icon, click on it, open the cover, then select "Style cover widget" from the list.

If it displays nothing, remove the cover, re-pait it by touching NFC tags, then re-attach it.

First make sure that you don't have any disabled apps under Settings -> Apps -> Disabled.

If that's not the cause, go to settings -> Apps -> All and clear data for Style Cover and Style Cover widget and then restart the phone, pair using NFC and see if that helps.

Indeed, the Style Cover widget was disabled... As soon as i restart it, the widget was présent in the widget menu

Hi there,

I have a new problem with my wife's Z3 Compact and the SCR26 Style Cover that I have not yet found online. I hope you will be able to help.

I bought the cover as my new Z5 with the Style Cover works nice and flawlessly.

Now for the specific problem.

When I try to pair the SCR26 with the Z3 by NFC, I only get the message:

New tag collected

somc://com.sonymobile.coverapp?FV=1&CT=1&CC=-1&WW=336&TM=155&VM=Sony_SCR26&DP=com.sonymobile.themes.cover.black

So I think I see that the correct cover is recognised, but that is all. Nothing else happens, and after downloading the style cover themes there is no sign of any reaction to the cover being opened or closed.

I already tried every solution published on these pages, but nothing works so far.

What do I miss or do wrong? How can I help my wife?

Is it true that you can't get it to work yet with Marshmallow? I have the concept edition and installed the apk, enabled it also in notifications but still doesn't work.
