I have troubles regarding my Xperia Z Wifi connection via my network with my PC.
I can setup sucessfully a connection between my XPERIA Z and my PC via wifi.(via the setup in PC Compagnon)
The Xperia device is visible in the PC Compagnon software and in Windows Eplorer. ( so this is a connection wthout any USB wire, via Wifi)
Everything looks fine untill I try to send a file ( Photo, music etc..) between my PC and Xperia device. In that case the connection immediately disconnects...!
This appears with each file I try to tranfer. So it seems to be impossible to transfer a file.
It's always possible to re-establish this wireless connection and this remains alright.
But each time I try to transfer ( via PC Compagnon, Media Go, Explorer etc...) a file the connection drops.
I already have deleted the PC entry in my Xperia Z ( Settings-Xperia - USB devices) and made a new connection.
Unfortunately the problem remains.
Any suggestions concerning this strange problem?
Ps: transfering files via an USB wire is working.

May I suggest that you try to use another file manager instead. I always use "ES File Explorer" for transferring files between my Xperia Z and my PC via Wi-Fi, and it never fails. I have transferred large video files without a problem. Besides that, it is a very good general file manager. If that doesn't work, there is probably something wrong with one of your devices, or maybe a firewall is blocking the file transfers.

I can't believe this. Indeed, no problem at all with ES File Explorer!
So I think we can say PC Compagnon is not really great software. I hope my smartphone Xperia Z will be much better....
Thanks Baars!!!
