So earlier today, my phone froze completely and I had to force shut down by holding down power and volume up. Since then, my phone will not turn on at all, nor respond to charging.
The only thing it does do is connect to my PC and although it does not show as a usable device, my PC notifies me that a device has been connected.
I'm really upset as this phone was perfect before now and it's literally two days out of it's warranty

Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 to 3 hours.
I will definitely try this. Tried this method of turning my phone on (volume up and power) but to no avail. I know my phone was on 93% when it crashed but definitely giving it a shot. Thanks

Thanks
But lets say for example, the phone doesn't come back on, what would you then suggest?
try the same with different wall chargers and/or usb cables, if that doesn't work then contact your local Xperia Care
I was informed by my local phone shop that it will cost me to send it to sony... how much should I be expecting to pay?
Hi, good news!
I managed to fix my device but another few issues have cropped up. The screen is extremely dark, even on full brightness. Alos, the device is getting really warm really quickly. There's no water damage and apart from this, the device is OK. Any ideas?
You need to get it inspected by your local Xperia Care
