Call log is empty?!!

Hi,

I am newbie on this forum and on Sony Xperia Z as well. So please forgive me my stupid questions.

The problem is that my call log is empty, and stay empty whatever I do.

I dial some number or I choose someone from the contact list or somebody call me it doesn't matter, the call log is empty.

After I choose Show call log I get message Call log empty.

I did the factory reset but nothing helps. Any advise will be appreciated.

But the threads do not give a solution. If you have already tried clearing data, resetting phone and repairing, then may be the problem is a bug in the firmware of Z series.

I have seen those threads before I wrote mine but my case is different because I didn't loose my contacts.

I did factory reset of the phone but it didn't help.

May be I will try Update Service Setup which I downloaded from Sony's site. Do you have some experience of it?

No I have not used it before, but I guess it won't be complicated. Also, are your messages getting stored or you have problem with that too?

All messages are stored right.

Well, may be you should go on with Update Service. There is an app named Phone/Message storage in the apps list, I thought may be that app is creating problems.

Funny thing happened when I did the backup of my phone with MyPhoneExplorer software. There is call log in the backup, whole call log from my old HTC phone and all calls from the new Sony phone!

Why SXZ do not show it to me?:smileyconfused:
