Apps crash, camera black after Android 5.1.1 update.

Yesterday on 17sept I upgraded my xperia z1 from android 5.0.4 to android 5.1.1 and now I am facing a lot of issues after that. Some of my apps crashes suddenly . Two of my games does not start. Camera showed unresponsing black screen twice for which I had to restart my phone. Everything was fine before the upgrade. Please suggest something.

It just showed a starting screen for games and after sometime displayed a message: game not responding would you like to close it. Apps like mx player stopped when I tried to swipe left to go back in a video.
.
.
.
But after checking for all the settings I found out that I had accidently turned on my developers option....after turning it off now I am able to play my games. May be other problems are solved as well. But how could developers option cause such errors?

Hi,

Could you specify which apps that crash? What happens when you try to open these games, any error messages? You could try to clear data for the Camera application via Settings > Apps > Swipe to the tab "All" > Camera > Clear data, to see if this can help.

Glad to hear that you solved it. By activating the developer options itself should not have any cause for this. But then, depending on which settings in developer options that you activate may cause strange behaviour of the device.
