Advise me: Buy a Z5 or X compact

I'm a pensioner on a tight budget.  My need is a small pocket size phone.  Use is primarly as a Walkman for listening to audio thru earphones.  Camera & games not important.

My budget is either a Z5 or X compact.  However strangely I get the impression the Z5 is loved and the X compact is an orphan.  Both are almost the same price.  The XZ1 is way out of my price range.

So I'm asking you Z5 enthusiasts do I buy the Z5 compact or X compact??

Both phones are good, although the Xperia Z5 is/was a flagship, it's a year older than the Xperia X Compact, you get similar features on both devices. My suggestion go for the Xperia X Compact.

Hi,

I am extremely  disappointed in my z5. The camera shuts do wen after taking 1 pic and says its ov eer heating. Phone gets hot and mobile hotspot wont connect to devices. Checking out tbis forum, many others have the same issue. Buy a samsung instead!
