well, that's up to you to decide. you'll probably get answers both saying that you should and that you shouldn't, based on people's different experiences and preferences.

If the Z3 does not serve you well any more and the distortion discussion does not bother you too much (and you get a good deal): sure - I would take it over the XZ anytime, better battery life and less warm and more ram which propably will make it last longer.

Still having my Z3 and the XZP, I would say it certainly is worth it to some extend:

1.) Faster Processor

2.) More RAM and 64GB internal Memory

3.) Slightly better camera and more gimmicks on Video 

4.) Quickcharge 3.0

As for Camera, I did an comparison between Z3, Z5 Premium and XZ Premium. Quite astonished that the XZP is not that much better at full sunlight. But the XZP is certainly better at low light than the Z3.

Don't expect to have the same battery life. The Z3 in my opinion is still unbeaten.

So, certainly an Upgrade, and remember the XZP is much bigger in size.

There is nothing real to decide, it's way better and worth the update. Especially when you come from the Z3.

Camera is way better

The Slowmotion will melt your eyeballs

The Batterylife is still impressive

The screen is just amazing, with and without 4K

The software sony puts in there gets better and better as well.
