How can I activate my fingerprint reader? I live in the Caribbean

If your device was purchased or imported from the US, then you'll have the fingerprint functionality disabled from the software (most probably due to legal reasons). The only way to activate it is by flashing any other firmware than the US one, using unofficial flashing methods like FlashTool and XperiFirm.
