Basically when I had my Previous phone (Xperia Z3) My headphones worked fine, but on my new phone (Xperia XZ) they don't work but they still work with other devices. I have tried using a different pair of headphones on my XZ which DO work
After downloading an app called "headphone tester" or something I noticed that if I hold down the "Answer call" button the headphones seem to connect and work but only when I am holding that button and they disconnect again
Are their any fixes?
I am using Soundmagic E10M's

I am using SoundMagic E10M's
I got your PM, I was reading about the headphones
https://soundmagicheadphones.com/products/soundmagic-e10c-in-ear-isolating-earphones-with-mic
Compatible with all smartphones, the E10C incorporates a microchip in the 3-button remote that switches automatically between Apple and Android smartphones. Owners of multiple smartphones can easily swap between devices to control volume, track control and call answer/end functions.
I wonder if it has anything to do with that?

It could be but surely that would mean the headphones should work 😕
I did a lot of digging online which took a while and people were saying that if I used a CTIA to OMTP converter is may work, so I have bought one and will post if it does work
