Do not disturb mode behaviour?

So this is interesting... I've been using my XZ Premium for a few days now and just noticed an weird behaviour... according to this page:

http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiaxzpremiumdualsim/userguide/icons-in-the-status-bar/

The DO NOT DISTURB icon should appear on the right side of the status bar, replacing the "Vibrate" icon when DND is activated. But for some reason, my xperia XZ Premium shows the

icon on the top LEFT side as a notification...

DND icon on top LEFTDND icon on top LEFT

At this point, the phone is in DND modeAt this point, the phone is in DND mode

Also in DND modeAlso in DND modeAs far as I remember, this wasn't the case with my previous Z3 and Z5... and it also not the case with other android phones like the Google Pixel phones. This is a bit annoying as when I do turn the DO NOT DISTURB mode on, THEN lock the screen, I have no indication whatsoever to show that my phone is in DND mode... (see picture 2). In other words, it looks like the phone is set to regular mode (unlike with "Vibrate" mode which shows an vibrating icon on the top right).

But when I turn this mode by pressing the volume down bottom when the screen is already locked, then I have the DND notification which pops up in the middle of the lock screen, and I can't remove it (see picture 3).

I am wondering if anyone else noticed that, and if there is a way to make the DND icon to appear on the top RIGHT as it is written in the manual in the link above? Or is that a silly bug sony missed?

it appears in the top left because it shows permanent notification saying that DND mode is enabled, and tapping the notification is a quick way to turn it off. but yeah, stock Android shows the icon in the top right corner of the screen.

regarding the notification on the lockscreen - if you go to Settings - Notifications - Cogwheel icon - enable Keep notifications on lock screen, you'll be seeing the DND notification no matter the way you enabled it.

Yes, I know about the notification settings, but I set them up this way because I like it that way, and I don't want them to be on the lock screen at all times, especially not that annoying DND lock screen notification. Also, you could still easily turn off DND by pressing the volume up button. I realy don't understand this design desicion from sony....

If that's the case then they should also fix they phone's manual page, because that's misleading.
