Read about this problem somewhere, but cannot find the thread.

I already installed some Apps from Playstore without problems. Now I was trying to install another, but process stops after downloading. So once the 100% is reached, it just sits there and won't complete the installation.

Any suggestions besides Software repair?

maybe try clearing Play Store's cache? I don't know if it'll fix the issue but it's worth trying. go to Settings > Apps > find Play Store entry > Storage > Clear cache.

Found that this issue is also reported in other forums.

Only work-around ist to switch phone off and then on again. Simply rebooting does not help.

So hopefully Sony will look into this and remove this in.a Bugfix.

Hey, I had this exact same issue along with notifications not working for some apps, like Google app (clicking notification does not open corresponding app). First, go to the Play Store and turn off automatic app updates from settings. Then, go to setting>Apps>Google App > uninstall, which should remove the updates. When that's done, reopen the Google App and sign in and everything. Now, try installing an app or update from the Play Store and clicking Google App notifications, they should both work!

Please let me know if this solution also works for you, as I'm fairly certain this is caused by a bug in the Google App at this point.
