Greetings,
I'm kind of having a big problem where certain apps that are running continuously crashing and when there are apps not running and haven't been opened at all, a notification pops out saying that the app is unresponsive. As for the overheating problem, when my phone is not in use, the phone tends to somehow overheat and when I take it out from my pocket, the phone screen is not even on but the phone is very hot. All this happened 2 days after it updated the android software. I hope you can help me solve this problem. Thank you.
Best Regards,
Greg
Hi Cameron, yes I booted into save mode and problem was still there and the phone this time lagged a lot while just navigating the homepage
I've been having similar issues since the beginning of July.
It is mainly on snapchat and Facebook, but also occasionally happens Chrome.
Usually restarting my phone sorts it out for about 48hours.
But not what I'd expect off a a phone that's 4 months old.
Hi Cameron T, I did that but the repaired failed and now I can't even on nor perform another software repair on the phone. Is there a way I can boot it still? Keeps on popping out a "The software update failed. Please make sure your phone is connected to the computer and try again". The problem is, that its not even being detected on the computer. Hope you get back to me ASAP.
Best Regards,
Greg
Try a different USB cable and USB port in your PC. You can also try re-installing Xperia Companion, and trying it on a different PC.
Hi Cameron T,
Didn't work when I used other computer but already took it to the service center and got it fixed. But somehow apps are still crashing by it's own. Still kinda weird
Best Regards,
Greg
My phone overheats and apps crash when I'm in video recording mode. And the message pops up saying functions disabled until phone cools down. I've sent the phone back to Sony for repair however they were unable to find a fault.
Shame as the fault remains and all I keep getting told is to do a software repair, I've done it three times all to no avail.
Very disappointed to be honest, looks like defection over to Samsung on the horizon for me after 6 years with Sony.
