4GB RAM????

The rest of the market are releasing phones with 6 and 8GB of RAM and yet SONY are releasing the XZ2 with only 4GB. That's me out! Before anyone says that SONY have better RAM management and use light skins etc, my XZ has been crippled by 3GB of RAM from the outset. I'm still on 6.0.1 and it needs 4GB of RAM. If you're on Oreo you need more than 4GB or else apps and browser tabs will reload for fun. Also, I can't believe how many phones Sony bring out! My XZ is 15 months old and already they're onto the phone's SECOND replacement! Lol!

My Xperia X with 3 gb ram and Oreo runs pretty smooth.. My XZ was kinda slow compared to the X, not sure why since it has a better chipset. So I dont think 4gb is going to be insufficient to run oreo.

I never said it was insufficient, like the phone won't function properly. I'm saying that it's not enough for future-proofing. Every phone manufacturer is moving to 6 and 8GB for their premium smartphones in 2018. Sony always gives barely enough RAM and it's frustrating! I fell for this with the original XZ which only had 3GB when every other top phone had 4GB - and that was in 2016.

they are saving it for the dual camera phone later this year, the same reason why the xz2 does not have 4k at 60fps and why it only has a 1080p screen

XZ2 have 1080 x 2160 pixels it's a little bit bigger resolution as FULL HD. Resolution of recording is 2160p@30fps, it's not 60fps, but still 4K Slightly_smiling_Face
