What version of Android am i running ??

#MySoftwareisWrong,,, So I come to support for help and was asked for my IMEI number... The Sony support site says I'm running 8.0... But my phone says 9.0?????? So what exactly do I do?.. Thank God I didn't try to root it

sometimes 3rd party sites does not account for the update, your device imei might registered with the software it was released with.

Hi @judyblue,

Seems the website haven't really caught up and the information in your device is always the best way of checking your current Android version, since it will not grab the information from somewhere first it will just display the Android version in your device.

If you are not 100% sure, you can always get back to me in a private message with your IMEI number and I can take a second look at it.

@nolramlb, it may be that the Xperia XA2-series pretty recently received Android Pie and the website just haven't been updated for some reason, since it's the official website, it should provide the correct information though.

I tried to message you and it won't let me but today I have no working camera after an update a few mins ago... I'm about done with Sony in general 😢
